CRL has always been committed to empowering the next generation (be they engineers or other professions) and creating pathways for them to meaningful employment opportunities.
To enable this, we recently partnered with YouthBuild UK take this commitment of ours to the next step. We believe this collaboration will help us create new opportunities for the youth who are neither in school nor employed.
CRL recently attended a YouthBuild Networking Event to connect with young people and gain insights into their journeys. This experience deepened our understanding of how Community Mapping can enhance environments and how partnerships with non-profits can be strengthened. Most importantly, it reinforced our commitment to creating a Safer and Better Environment to support young people in their growth and development.
Going forward, we are organizing a Taster day in September at our office in Mitcham. We will be inviting a cohort of students to join us for an Interactive day in the office where they can experience firsthand what it is like to be a part of a company such as CRL.
This event will be designed specifically for these young people to experience what we do, and how we do it and introduce them to the various Career Opportunities within the company. We look forward to engaging with them and providing hands-on experience and insights into how they can be a part of our team (or any other team) in the future.
We are looking forward to working with YouthBuild, and learning from their team how we can support, and help disadvantaged young people find opportunities in the workplace by offering them the tools, support, and exposure needed to build their future.
We like to think that our partnership with Youthbuild is more than just a program, it is our 'commitment to building a better tomorrow' by supporting the youth of today.
