Steve JonesSHEQ & Business DirectorSteve is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, a Member of ICorr, and a Chartered Member of IOSH, with over 40 years of construction experience. After 10 years with Higgs and Hill, he joined CRL as a Contracts Manager in 1993. In 1999, he started up the Bristol Office, which he ran as Regional Manager before joining the board in 2018.
Steve has extensive experience with concrete repair and coating techniques, cathodic protection, temporary works and bearing replacement. As SHEQ & Business Director, Steve leads the SHEQ function, encompassing Sustainability and Social Value, alongside Business Development and Marketing.
Adrian PikeGlobal Framework DirectorAdrian is a Construction Management professional with a degree from Sheffield Hallam University and over 35 years’ experience in the industry. His career spans both the UK and international markets, with projects delivered in more than 50 countries.
He has contributed to major landmark schemes, including the Prince of Wales Bridge, the Palm Jumeirah Gateway in the UAE, and many more, demonstrating expertise in complex, high-profile environments. Adrian joined CRL in 2022 as Highways Manager, was appointed to the Board in 2025, leading the Highways Division, oversees Australian operations, playing a key role in delivering CRL’s SDF frameworks for National Highways.
Steven DunnStrategic Partnership LeadSteve began his career in construction in 1994 with Tilbury Douglas after graduating with honours from the University of Portsmouth. He has since in technical sales and leadership roles, including over a decade as a Managing Director. His experience spans multiple sectors, delivering solutions across major commercial and infrastructure projects.
He specialises in structural repair and strengthening, including concrete repairs, FRP systems, and electrochemical solutions, with experience across rail, water, and civil engineering projects. At CRL, he contributes extensive technical expertise, supporting complex refurbishment and infrastructure schemes across the UK
Paul QuinlainHighways Framework ManagerJon-Paul began his career with Costain and progressed through Tarmac and Balfour Beatty before joining CRL, where he has worked for the past 13 years. He holds a BSc in Engineering, is a member of the CIOB, and previously achieved Level 3 Senior Technician status with the Institute of Corrosion. He has extensive experience delivering projects nationwide, including car park refurbishments and works on major infrastructure.
He specialises in concrete repairs, bridge works, waterproofing, and cathodic protection, and currently leads Highways operations, tenders, and ECI activities across CRL’s portfolio.
Mike LloydCommercial ManagerMike has an extensive experience in commercial management within specialist contracting. He joined CRL in 2023 as part of the Highways Division, working on the National Highways Scheme Delivery Framework. His background includes strong expertise in contract administration and commercial control across infrastructure projects.
He specialises in managing commercial processes, financial reporting, and NEC contract administration, supporting project delivery from early-stage budgeting through to completion. As part of the senior management team, he plays a key role in shaping divisional strategy and overseeing the successful delivery of Highways schemes.
Simon DewsburyQuality Manager SDFSimon brings 40 years’ experience delivering major UK construction and infrastructure projects, with a strong track record in quality, safety and operational performance. His background spans structures, highways, rail, water and SMART motorways, supported by extensive site engineering expertise.
Since 2001, he has specialised in Quality Systems and Business Improvement, holding qualifications in Quality Management, NEBOSH, Lead Auditor, Lead Investigator, Lean and Collaborative Leadership. He has led ISO 44001 implementation at business and project levels, promoting collaboration. Simon champions sustainable practices and technology to reduce environmental impact, and volunteers with the CQI and as a STEM Ambassador.
