Our Elizabeth Tyler shortlisted for CRA Emerging Talent Award

CRL are proud to announce that ‘Lizzie’ has ben shortlisted for the upcoming CRA Emerging Talent Awards and we are confident that she has a good chance of winning!

‘Lizzie’ graduated with a Masters in Civil Engineering - the third year being completed in France in 2013, which required studying French technical documents and undertaking exams in French. She then worked in the rail industry prior to starting with CRL on our Gravelly Hill project in Birmingham. Although she had limited experience of the type of work carried out by CRL it did not take her long to shed her initial quiet demeanour and develop into a valued member of the site management team.

Lizzie has gone on to become a level 2 Cathodic Protection Technician and is now a competent and highly valued CP Engineer, able to understanding the causes of faults and the methods required to overcome issues relating to CP. Lizzie is organised, bright and innovative and is an integral and popular member of our site team who is easily able to gain the respect, as well as the confidence of the client’s representatives on any project she works on.

She exudes confidence beyond her years and is keen to take on responsibilities, as well as having a knack for simplifying complex tasks to make them accessible, and understandable to everyone involved.

Good luck Lizzie! We look forward to hearing that you have won the award …
