Highways team bowled over at Charity Event!On a very wet Wednesday evening in Altrincham, a crack team of strike bowlers arrived at the Atlantic Bowl to do battle with seven other teams! The event was organised in aid of Stockdales, a Manchester based charity that does fantastic work to support children and adults with learning difficulties. The National Highways North West Safety Group has an alliance with the charity and CRL's Team from the nearby M67 St Annes Bridge Project stepped up to prove their mettle! Following a tense, fearsome, and epic 20 frame tussle Team CRL came in a creditable 4th place with our hot shot Liam ' dead eye' King taking the honours in our pool. Nick Shipley also went home heavy-handed with a couple of prizes! A great night was had by all with all the proceeds and raffle going to support this important and worthy cause.
