CRL Inspires Future Talent at Woodrush High School Career Fair

This week, Concrete Repairs Limited (CRL) proudly took part in the Woodrush High School Career Fair in Birmingham, engaging with students and showcasing the wide range of career opportunities within the construction and infrastructure maintenance industry.

CRL representatives Sophie Thorneywork, Amy Steedman, and Connor McKirgan were on hand to speak with pupils about the essential work we do across the UK and the many pathways available within our organisation. The team highlighted how CRL supports the built environment through specialist structural repair and maintenance — and how young people can build rewarding careers in this vital sector.

The event was an excellent opportunity to connect with the next generation of engineers, project managers, and skilled professionals, sparking conversations about STEM careers and the importance of infrastructure in everyday life.

A special highlight of the day was meeting Sky, the British Transport Police’s newest (and very adorable) puppy recruit, who brought smiles to everyone’s faces!

We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to Woodrush High School for hosting such a well-organised and meaningful event, and to all the students who took the time to visit our stand and learn more about CRL. Supporting and inspiring young talent remains a core part of our commitment to community engagement and industry development.
